On the down side: many of the ingredients are not ones I tend to have on hand (and I do a lot of cooking) which makes the recipes expensive to make and difficult to prepare for. Also, many took me an hour or so to prepare. I don't see how you could do them "in minutes" unless you were a professional and could fly through the prep work. On the plus side: I loved the recipes I did make. So much so that I am checking this book out for a second time. They were delicious and beautiful and really made me feel like a chef. I would say because of the time and expense, most of these recipes are special treats to make and are not going to be your everyday go-to's.
