Good documentary about The Beatles first U.S. tour - actually 3 or 4 appearances on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. I was very young at the time (about 5) and me and my siblings had to beg the parents to let us stay up late so we could watch The Beatles on television! Lovely to see them as young men and to see their hits performed live - She Loves You, Twist and Shout, I Saw Her Standing There - you know them all! In hindsight, you have to wonder how they made it through all the screaming teenage girls! They get a bit tiresome in the DVD and the DVD has them traveling around on tour (the music doesn't start until about 20 minutes into the DVD). All good fun and really a pleasant time capsule for the 1960s and an awesome band that truly left a legacy of musical joy / fun.
