I too was impressed with this film, by combining good script (although lacking in some areas), good acting (except for the thinly layered "bad guys"), a love story and a much more horrific world of human trafficking.
The credits say it is based on a real event, and has some informative text ending the film. There is a different and in many ways a more disturbing and better film covering this subject with the 2010, The Whistleblower.

Mostly good acting, mostly interesting characters, some action, a bit of a love story. This is an ambitious movie that touches on the billion dollar per year human trafficking issue, but is really the story of a couple in love but struggling. About half the movie is exposition to make you really care about the characters--or not care in the case of the sports agent. When the action does start, it is violent but not splashy. If you have invested in the characters, it can be very tense, but do not expect an "action film." I will probably watch this again.

Not a very good movie, again poor acting, poor directing, made actors appear stupid. But brings out an important topic and how bad it is around the world. I gave it two stars because this is such a horrific situation otherwise it would get only 1 star.

This movie had promise,
but, the acting was not great.

This thriller and mystery film is about a couple and their friends who go away on vacation, only to be confronted by a dangerous biker gang in the countryside that doesn’t want to let them go unharmed. I feel like this movie was onto something with it’s storyline and the way that it chose to portray things, but as the movie progressed it seemed like any attempt at seriousness became just some way to add thrill into the mix. I would rate this movie 3/5 stars and recommend it to those who are willing to watch it with an open mind and give it a chance. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

I really liked it also.

More than likely a true story!

This could have been a good movie but the acting was weak. Good storyline, makeup was good and the scene setups were realistic but they can't make up for weak acting. What I meant by 'bad acting' is that I can see the actor acting; I just don't get lost in the character. The directing could also have been a little stronger so that the weak actors don't look so weak. But I guess you win some and lose some.

Not bad, but not

Bad acting, bad directing.

Paula Patton is in her typical panicked role and somehow manages to survive a human trafficking ring, get the sheriff arrested and her job back, along with the men being killed off. What a piece of crap movie this was. She has no credibility as an actress and yet I keep watching her movies hoping she will improve.

It was an OK movie. Scary if you think how "hidden" can women/human trafficking can be. You never know what's happening next door, down the street or at a gas station.
Shocking are the numbers: "It's estimated there are 1.9 million women being trafficked in the USA. Worldwide, 21 million victims of human trafficking generate illegal profits each year of 150 billion dollars".
