I really wanted to like this book but found I could not get into it. It just wasn't believable for me.

Really trying to suspend my belief on this one. Single mom moves up North to live in her Aunt's old house. This house hasn't been lived in since 1990 but yet it looks the same as when it was left. I laughed out loud when a local man tells her if you shut the door the mice will stay in the basement! Anyone who has lived in rural Alberta knows that there certainly wouldn't be towels and linens still in the closet, not without hundreds of mice nesting in them. I might have to put this one aside.
