The focus of this book is on building a simple single-speed (probably) steel-frame bike, but even if you're interested in more complicated bicycles it's a great introduction. I've been messing about with bikes for a few years and this book's photos and clear explanations have me understanding headsets and bottom brackets so much better than anything else I've read. Recommended if you want to get to know your bike better.
