Beautiful art, wildly creative worlds, and core themes of family are what make this a stunning story to read. This graphic novel revolves around a young girl, Boetema, who visits fantastic worlds when she sleeps. As she and her family find their way in the real world - a fictional desert country with its share of struggles - she also finds her way through a universe of imaginative cultures, places, and relationships within her dreams.

The only downside to this book is that it's not a series! I would have happily read dozens of more books about Boetema and her adventures, and this book definitely leaves you wanting more.

A very interesting concept of a story! I liked the relationship between the siblings but I couldn't believe the parents.

Gorgeous art but the story wasn't very compelling.

Beautiful artwork and a compelling fantasy story makes this one a quick read. It leaves you with lots of unanswered questions so I am sure a sequel is to follow.
