This is a well-done title on the subject, especially because it has an excellent bibliography.

I suspect it won't get the readership it deserves because it's an exhaustive evaluation of just how powerful and skillful professional corporate manipulators are at controlling us. It really is depressing!

And they're every bit as nefarious as you think they are, sometimes even laughably so. I mean, take
industry hiding behind puppet activist groups, like "America's Wetland Foundation" a front for the oil industry trying to shift the burden of oil spill clean-up's to taxpayers!

But there's some practical benefit to ploughing through this ****- it sensitizes one to some of their tricks. Take the section on decoy pricing- just fascinating.

Being a philosopher by trade he delves into the tricky subject of "Is there any GOOD propaganda?". I'd say yes- One conditions ones child to look both ways before crossing the street, after all.
Idries Shah once said that conditioning is teaching without bothering including the why's. That's often useful, and sometimes crucial, but always lethal in the long term.
Anyway, a solid read.
