Worth a look if only to listen to Tom Hardy's idea of a Welsh accent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very strange concept of watching a man driving while talking on the phone. For mr it was boring.

Interesting movie. Tom Hardy doesn't even leave his car!

Another tour de force from Tom Hardy! Who'd have thought you could have a tense, absorbing movie featuring one guy driving a car and making phone calls? But with a smart script and good acting by Hardy, that's what you get.

Absolutely brilliant movie! Watching it again recently, we were as mesmerized as the first time. Tom Hardy speaks with calm assurance over the phone (with a lovely Welsh accent!) as his life unravels on three different fronts. He tries to contain each sphere but they bleed into each other, while he makes moral choices based his own rage and stubbornness about ghosts from the past. Brilliant, challenging, thought-provoking: what would I do, what do I think about what he's doing?

Should be called: Phone Calls the movie.
Still its good for a movie about a guy who talks on speaker phone while driving for 85 minutes.

This is a movie for people who enjoy good character development. The lead here, Locke, is complex and full of layers. You’re cautious about him early in the film yet find yourself rooting for him as the story continues, even though you might not agree with his decision. But that really doesn’t matter, because it is clear that he has made a decision and he is going to stick with it no matter the consequences.

I agree with the last post in that it was boring.

I thought this was an interesting film, although I had watched it before I couldn't recall how it ended for some reason I just couldn't press the stop button, I just had to know what he chose to do.
Overall I was totally drawn in & though the idea of having a movie take place entirely in one set ("Phonebooth" & probably others I'm unaware of) this definately had hold over my curiosity.

Ivan Locke: I want to know that I'm not driving in one direction.
