Daniel X: Armageddon is the fifth book in the Daniel X series. In this book, Daniel must face-off with Number Two, an alien who has been on Earth for so long that no one knows when he arrived. He appeared throughout human history through myth and religion, always depicted as the embodiment of evil or the end of the world. Daniel must defeat him to save humanity from the apocalypse. This book tried a couple new things in the series which I believe improved it in multiple ways. Normally the books in the series start and end in the status quo, no changes to major characters or no new major characters introduced. This book starts to change Daniel’s group allowing for new character dynamics, giving the series something new for a change. More information is also revealed about Daniel’s back story and even more surprising, information is revealed about Number One, the alien that killed Daniel’s parents. This book brings so many game-changing elements to the series and they all make the series far more interesting, which is why I think this the best book in the series up so far. - @Fulton of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

I really likde the book but was sad that he couldn't call up his parents or friends again. Still, at least he got to be with Dana in the end.
