From #1 New York Times bestselling author Sylvia Day comes the first novel in the Crossfire series--a provocative masterstroke of abandon and obsession that redefined the meaning of desire, and became a global phenomenon.

Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness...

He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...

Gideon knew . He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds...and desires.

The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart...

Can't picture a sexy man named Gideon, sounds like a troll. The compassions to Fifty Shakes are obvious. Eva/Ana have some differences when Eva doesn't spend all her time blushing and blanching. The characters are more equally weathered and Cary is a far better roommate than what's her name in Fifty. Still it gets old a pretty quick when it's the same scenes, she runs, he runs after her, they gloss over everything with sex and are genuinely surprised when they're fighting again. Shocking. ;>

Clearly very much inspired from 50 shades of Grey but this book highly shown emotions than 50 Shades which is very interesting.

Loved this book. Kind of like fifty shades but not at the same time, worth a read..

Similar to the 50 Shades trilogy but different enough to still be an easy and enjoyable read. Putting the next one on hold now.

I was quickly bored with this book. It was the same back and forth crape I already read in 50 shades.

I enjoyed 50 shades bought the trilogy but now after reading Bared to you I regret not having bought this one instead. I didn't think there could be better than 50 shades out there but there is because I adored this book. Id read it all over again. I'm waiting for the 2nd one I have on hold and cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Some of the things in this book really rubbed me the wrong way. Gideon and Eva's relationship started out with an extreme case of sexual harassment in the workplace and then what I think is rape. I mean she said no and he kept running her down, stalking her, creepy things. I would not recommend this to anyone that has triggers.

I read the comments about Bared to You being another 50 Shades of Grey with some subtle changes by the author here and there. But, still enjoyed the steamy read.

This book is too much like 50 Shades of Grey. If you can look past that, this book is okay. It's entertaining.

"Blinking out of my semidaze, I released him. He wasn’t just beautiful; he was . . . enthralling. He was the kind of guy that made a woman want to rip his shirt open and watch the buttons scatter along with her inhibitions. I looked at him in his civilized, urbane, outrageously expensive suit and thought of raw, primal, sheet-clawing fucking."

" His voice was cultured and smooth, with a rasp that made my stomach flutter. It brought sex to mind. Extraordinary sex. I thought for a moment that he might make me orgasm just by talking long enough." - Eva's thoughts upon first meeting Gideon
