This book has patterns for mostly experienced knitters.

Fascinating designs and techniques; most slippers start with a really unusual cast-on that I will be using for many other projects. BE VERY CAREFULL reading the instructions. They can be fairly wordy and obvious,, then she will sneak in a couple of words that will totally mess-up your pattern if you don't pay attention.
