I loved the movie. I love animal movies. The acting was well done. It is good for all ages. It is not to violent for children. They refer to the world war; but, there is not actually any battle scenes. The movie effectively communicates how dogs can bring us joy, support, companionship and friendship. Rin Tin Tin also contributed to the community. It is based on a historical data. I liked the humour used in the film. I recommend this DVD.

The idea was good, but in all honesty, if they had left out all the silly bits and historical inaccuracies, they might have had a good movie.

Every now and then you see a movie that is so bad, it suddenly becomes clear that the only reason the film was made was to:

1: launder money
2: get a gov't film grant
3: launder money.

This is a terrible film.
