Nicely done by writer/director Sam Levinson. Intricate storyline shows the supposedly "normal" family members are truly dysfunctional and the "announced" dysfunctional family members were actually driven to their emotional limits by the others....and are more human (normal) than their counterparts. Great performances.

Good – Another Happy Day (2011) 119 min. Perhaps the reason I liked this dysfunctional family drama was that some of the scenes were so intense in terms of conflict – ex’s exchanging “not so kind” words to each other or relationships breaking down right before our eyes, for example.

I thought this film was very good. It shows what really happens in life in most families. Ellen Barkin was fantastic in her role, also the other acters were very good. A true to life movie.

What a dysfunctional family. I'm not sure why Dylan wanted his mother's relatives at the wedding other then to spark contraversy. I'm also unsure why Lynn would want to visit her mother, sisters etc, since they were so unsupportative of her. In any case, it was an interesting film which held my attention to the end.

I don't recmmend wasting your time with this collection of unhappy people, unless you have a strong streak of masochism. the best part was the ending as the primary characters left the scene of disasters.
