#1 New York Times bestselling author Iris Johansen explores the darkest corners of the human heart as forensic sculptor Eve Duncan closes in on the killer who stole her daughter so many years ago.  As a former Navy SEAL turned cop, Joe Quinn has seen the face of evil and knows just how deadly it can be. When he first met Eve Duncan, he never expected to fall in love with a woman whose life would be defined by her dual desires to bring home her missing daughter and discover the truth behind her disappearance - no matter how devastating. With the help of CIA agent Catherine Ling, they make a shocking discovery that sheds new light on young Bonnie's abduction and puts Quinn squarelyin the crosshairs of danger. Eve's first love, John Gallo, a soldier supposedly killed in the line of duty, is very much alive - and very much a threat. Emotionally charged, with one shock after another, Quinn reveals the electricity of Joe and Eve's first connection, and how they fell in love in the midst of haunting tragedy. As their search takes them deeper and deeper into a web of murder and madness, Joe and Eve must confront their most primal fears . . . and test their resolve to uncover the ultimate bone-chilling truth.

Boring - an almost re-telling of the 1st of the trilogy "Eve". Other comments in "Bonnie"

A very fast paced thriller. No extraneous text and boring details.

It fills in the blanks from the other Eve stories.

I felt terribly cheated with regard to the cliffhanger ending. I enjoyed Catherine's character, and the story in general, but I disagree with making the reader wait to see what happens.
If one is telling a story, tell all of it. I want closure!
This isn't television.

While I thought this a good read, it barely dealt with Joe Quinn, the title of the book, at all. Mostly of the story seemed to revolve around Catherine Ling & Bonnie's father, John Gallo. I was sort of disappointed with this book, however, I will still read the conclusion to this trilogy, Bonnie, when it becomes available.

I enjoyed reading this book. I got a few answers on the questions that I had while reading the EVE book. Now of course I can't wait until BONNIE comes out to finish this. As much as I enjoyed the whole series of Eve books, I think readers are ready to find out what really happened to Bonnie. We have had a few years to think about it and now it is time for the series to end off with us having all our questions answered!!!
