I found Mr. Blake too negative...like he couldn't wait to "diss" Freddie at every turn.....took it with a heaping tablespoon of salt.....

How could anyone write about the exploits of Queen - and the life of legendary Freddie Mercury, in particular - and do it in such a boring, "and this happened next"-type fashion? Blake's work is more a chronology than a bio...loaded with facts, and nearly devoid of insights. Skip the book and watch the YouTube clip of Queen's legendary performance at LiveAid in '85: you'll learn all you need to know about the band right there.
