It's hard to imagine any fictional villain half as fiendish as the real-life warlords, tyrants, and pirates in these new Wicked biographies. Bet you can't read just one!

Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party rose to power in a Germany reeling from an economic depression, and went on to conquer most of Europe, carrying out a horrific plan for the systematic elimination of Jews and other "inferior" people in the realm. Germany's defeat in 1945 ended Hitler's life, but not before the world was forever scarred by the most destructive genocide in history.

A good short, biography mixed with a bit of history. Recommended for third grade and up. Good for school reports, has a timeline, glossary and a list of other resources in the back.
