It¹s 1960, the height of the Cold War, but for Dante Amato of the Chicago Mob, life is anything but cold. Charismatic and movie-star handsome, Dante has settled comfortably into his role as The Outfit¹s man in Hollywood and Vegas. Dante¹s older brother, Aldo, a CIA agent, couldn¹t be more disapproving of his brother¹s life. Yet when Dante is ordered to meet with a beautiful Cuban go-between named Marissa del Valle, and then mob boss Sam Giancana summons him to Miami to discuss a U.S. Government commission to hit the Cuban dictator, Dante¹s first call is to his brother.

Is it a set-up? Or a chance for the mob to restart the flow of gambling and drug money from Havana? And what about Bobby Kennedy¹s war against The Mob? ³Bobby Kennedy is a snake,² says Jimmy Hoffa to Santo Trafficante. And how do you kill a snake? You cut off its head. ³ As this spellbinding thriller by E. Duke Vincent unfolds, a gripping story emerges, masterfully connecting the dots between the Kennedys, Castro, The Mob, the CIA . . . and the Grassy Knoll.

The author, Vincent, is an idiot. The author is convinced that the assassination had to be because Bobby Kennedy went after the mob. Sure, some mobsters invited then-Senator John Kennedy to Havana for a couple of orgies when he was younger, and during his time in the Senate JFK dated one or two well-known strippers, or burlesque queens, but that was because he was Joe's boy, more or less. No, Bobby's going after the union corruption may have ended union power due to an unholy alliance between organized crime and the unions, which granted them an advantage over the real super-criminals, the Wall Streeters, who were behind the Kennedy assassination, and Bobby's murder and the murder of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. [The principal shooters, or snipers, were Lucien Conein, an experienced sniper [CIA], Jean Rene Souetre, OAS terrorist, French Army officer/deserter, and failed assassin of Gen. de Gaulle; Mozes Maschkivitzan, a Belgian living in Luxembourg due to Belgian warrants for him for forgery and bank robbery, who worked as a CIA contract killer, and Lazlo the Hungarian, French Foreign Legion deserter and OAS member, who was the armorer or weapons specialist of the group.]

As a fictional novel Vincent 's
The camelot conspiracy has it all.
Interesting characters,a good story line, and fast moving pace. To many names and historical fact for me.
Only 4 stars,but enjoyable to be 5.
