This book is amazing. It intrigued me, I couldn't put it down. It was just that good. The plot, the characters, even the time. It was all great!

And so begins this delightful series. I enjoyed everyone of them.

A well told story that merges real characters with an historical event that makes both exhilarating. Characters are extremely well developed and the line of events is perfect.

I love all of Putney's books, but I was a little reluctant to try this series since it was her first foray into young adult writing. I shouldn't have been concerned. Putney's storytelling ability made this just as wonderful a read as all her other books.
