"A little dog finds an umbrella in the garden on a windy day. The moment the dog picks up the umbrella, it catches the wind and pulls the dog skywards. This is the start to fantastic journey around the world. The wind carries the umbrellas and the dog all over the world, from the desert to the sea, from the jungle to the North Pole. A wordless picture book that tells a thousand stories."--Jacket flap.

a book with no words that has the most extraordinary possibilities. daughter is absolutely drawn in by the illustrations of places and animals. hard to read if you lack in your own imagination. one scene where (savages?) try and shoot the dog out of the sky, how do you explain that?

Terrific wordless book! - Make up your own story about the bear's journey around the world with the red umbrella. Great for all ages.

The images relate the adventure of this dog carried away by the umbrella; the artist cleverly depicts the different ways the umbrella is utilized too!
