Venomous is an intelligent, thoughtful book about growing up. Locke is an accessible character who experiences emotions that we can all identify with. He is determined to fight “the venom.” In the meantime, he’s got a lot of growing up to do. With the help of his best friend Randall and new friends Casey and Renee, Locke begins to unlock the complex inner workings of his angry mind.

Really fantastic novel. Though I thought Locke was a little weak, as he always talked about his venom, he was a really great lead. Good character development and a very nice ending.
