This book contains great tips and tricks! I truly enjoyed this book and will apply many of the ideas to my own garden. Worth the wait!

If you're interested in gardening, baking, making cheese, preserving foods, green cleaning, or even making a composting toilet, this is the book for you. It's a little geared towards a southwestern climate, it's still a very useful tool.

This book has tons of useful information - how to build a worm composter, a self-watering planter, a solar dehydrator... Practical and inspiring.

Going to have to purchase this one to have for future reference. Great step-by-step for gardening and self-sufficient living in very small spaces.

Great book. Has a lot of good ideas. For people who wants to live differently.

This book really summarizes what you might find in several different books on different ecological subjects. From growing your own food, to composting in an apartment (even humanuring), to water and energy reduction and even sustainable transportation (neat cycling links, like how to build a bamboo bike trailer), the only thing I wish differently is that it was written for the Ottawa climate by Canucks for Canucks. Anyone out there able to take this book to the next level (latitude)?!
