Second in its series this book answers the questions you are left asking in the first book, but only to leave you with plenty of more.

I loved it!!! It is riveting, exciting, on-the-edge of your seat action. I am rooting for Abbey and Caspian. I cannot wait to read The Hidden!

I read a lot of books, so it's extremely rare for one to take me by surprise. I have to say, one of the twists in this book, I did NOT see coming at all and I loved the author for it. I won't spoil it for anyone by going into any detail, so I'll just say that I think I actually liked this middle book better than the first in the trilogy.

This book is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed the silly parts. What I didn't like was the awkward and weird parts of the book . Overall, it's pretty good.

The Haunted was a well written book. However it was a bit boring leading up to the climax. Not too boring, but still boring. There was enough essential plot to keep any reader reading. THe climax however was excellent. While reading I couldn't put it down, and I found myself trying to come up with the next event, but I never could. It was unexpected and kept me on my toes. Great read.

And well I admit, I'm definitely reading these books because of Caspian! How can someone be so gorgeous and sweet and shy like him!!!!!

Never thought it was possible, but this book is better than the first. I can't wait for the third book. I love and hate the ending!!!!

No Emina, this is the second book. The 1st is The Hollow which I am reading right now. There is supposedly a third book coming out soon but we'll just have to wait and see on that one! :)

"Every guy's dream," he muttered softly. "To be the one the girl comes running to when she wants to be saved. And I can't even do anything about it..."

"Forever" he said. And in the quiet stillness, the hushed authority of a solemn vow ran behind his words. I want you forever - Caspian.

The back: An impossible truth. An impossible love.
After months spent reclaiming her sanity and trying to forget the boy she fell in love with--the boy who must not exist, cannot exist, because she knows that he is dead-- Abbey returns to Sleepy Hollow, ready to leave the ghosts of her past behind. She throws herself into her schoolwork, her perfume making, and her friendship with Ben, her cute and funny lab partner, who just might be her ticket to getting over Caspian once and for all.

But Abbey can never get over Caspian, and Caspian has no choice but to return to her side, for Caspian is a Shade, and Abbey is his destiny. They are tied not only to each other, but also to the town of Sleepy Hollow and the famous legend that binds their fates-- a legend whose dark truths are only the beginning to guess....
