I loved this book. It's an intriguing story that I really couldn't put down (it had me reading late into the night).

The story explores Abigail ben Judah's life as first promised bride to husband of a fool to then wife of the anointed king and still continues- making the life of Abigail seem so relatable. It was a refreshing story. I think the stories of Michal and Bathsheba are typically more commonly known, so reading Abigail was also educational. I loved the evident research, too. Now I look to the wise and faithful Abigail as a great role-model. :)
