I could not stand this book and the movie did not make it much better. The only redeeming quality were the actors.

I'm still not quite sure why this film got such poor reviews when it first came out. I was glued to it, and I also had read the book. The only thing I didn't like was the ending. A bit too cliche, and I thought they could've been more creative with the story there. It wasnt an exact replication of the book so they could've done even more with the story. Julia Roberts as always is fabulous in her acting. Overall I liked the film a lot.

What an awful story. Why did Liz need to divorce her husband to find herself? Why did she have to travel the world to find herself? Maybe I need to be a 40 year old divorcee in a mid-life crisis to understand.

Eat, fidget, pray, yawn, love, sleep ZZZZZzzzzzzz. Boring, self-indulgent, not recommended. Maybe the book is better?

I found this movie quite boring and hard to watch. I have read the book and loved it, however the movie just wasn't able to keep my attention.

I know not everyone loves Julia Roberts but I really enjoyed this film. Based on Elizabeth Gilbert's book by the same title, this film will take you around the world as the author, played by Roberts, tries to learn how to forgive herself, find peace with her life, and ultimately happiness. I'm a big fan of travel anything and thought this film was gorgeous and made me hungry for authentic Italian pasta; wishing I had more color in my life like there is in India; and craving a trip to the beaches of Bali. It's a great chick-flick.
