Several Philip K. Dick adaptations have been made that barely relate to the source material. Some of these have become cult classics (Blade Runner, Total Recal) and most are at least entertaining (Paycheck, Screamers). This however is the nadir of PKD adaptations. It has the thinnest of connections to the source material and other than a few laugh inducing dopey facial expressions from Nicholas Cage, it's a total snooze fest with a groan inducing clunker of an ending.

This was a bit disappointing ... it more like a made-for-TV movie than a big screen action movie. It was an interesting idea, but it felt stiff and looked cheesy. This is going to sound petty, but Nicholas Cage looked ill and his hair was a distraction.

OK adventure/thriller. Performances as you'd expect from Cage, Moore, and Biel. // Action and gunfight scenes could have been shortened without losing much. // Amazing scenery in Arizona locales.

I thought the movie was entertaining. The concept was original and developed well. The acting was adequate, although anything with Nicolas Gage is always a little less than hoped for. Overall I would recommend this for a cold night, but I wouldn't suggest cancelling an evening at a sporting event to watch it.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

Not the best thriller.

So-so romantic thriller with Cage portraying a stage magician with ESP.
