I finally got to listen the entire album on what everybody was raving about in the 1970s rather than snippets from Mamma Mia movie or the harping by critics.
i was too busy going to primary school, watching TV with 13 channels & going to friend's home playing Atari 2600.
Songs surprisingly sophisticated.
Chuckled at "Do your mother know" song given Alvin & the Chipmunks treatment & the preteen sound if you listen closely.
Ditto the loud garish outfits band had to wear to take advantage of tax break when I type in "Abba outfits" on search engine.
I love ABBA. I really love ABBA. I'm being quite serious, I honestly love ABBA so, so very much. All of their songs, many of which are included in this album, have a fun, disco, and joyous feel to them that makes for easy but extremely enjoyable listening. The album includes their most famous hits, such as "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen", along with some of their lesser known songs such as "Voulez Vous", "Does Your Mother Know?", "I Have A Dream", and "Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)", which is my personal favourite. I do not believe that it's possible to listen to ABBA and be sad: annoyed is a possibility, given many people's love-them-or-hate-them attitude towards the pop group, but sad is not a possible emotion to feel when listening to this album and their songs.

Yes, old. Yes, classic. Feeling down? Listen to some-feel good Abba. Great pick-me-up. Never fails.
Yes, I remembered these songs which I used to listen to over radio in late 70s. Best of all is Dancing Queen. I was a freshman of university when it was so popular and I miss those days with this song.
Even though those songs remind of my early twenties and the disco era. It seems like yesterday. Great songs.
whether you know the titles or not you will recognize and sing along with most of these tunes if not all.
