Great movie and blast from the past! Unfortunately, the disc was heavily damaged. Need replacement.

You've got to be in the mood for silly slap-stick, but there are some good sight gags that stay with you.

Set in Hollywood (circa 1947), and featuring an astoundingly delightful blend of dizzy, non-stop live-action, mixed generously with lots of dazzling animation, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" pays loving homage to those good, old days of classic cartoons when cartoon characters sometimes seemed to have more star-power and, yes, personality than did a lot of human actors in that golden era of yesteryear.

Yes. This incredibly innovative and vastly entertaining film is sure to please cartoon fans of all ages. The sheer number of familiar cartoon characters who make surprise, cameo appearances in this film is absolutely amazing.

With plenty of zany, fast-paced, comedy-action and an impressive attention to period detail, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" (which was released in 1988) won Oscars for "Best Visual Effects" - "Best Editing" - And a "Special Achievement Award" went to Richard Williams for animation direction and creation of the cartoon characters.

Robert Zemeckis has created a real comedy gem. The mix of live action and animation is perfect for this film.
