Meg Finn is in trouble. She's dead, but not at peace--she's in limbo, her good deeds perfectly balanced against her bad deeds; Heaven or Hell wait, a tip of the scale away. So she's back on Earth trying to tip the scale to the good by helping her last victim, and her former "partner" is also back, trying to force her to tip the scale to the bad. Meg Finn is in a tough spot. Really tough. For her last act on Earth, she committed a crime - and lost her life as a result. Now Meg's spirit is stuck in limbo, due to a dead-even tally of good and evil deeds. Meg's only chance at salvation is to return to Earth and stack on a few more good deeds - namely, helping the old man whose apartment she was robbing during her last appearance. For better or worse, that man needs a lot of help. In fact, he has a whole list of wishes he wants to fill before he dies. And it's up to Meg to make those wishes come true - before her own time is up.

"After her first attempted robbery goes horribly wrong, newly dead 14-year-old Meg Finn poses a problem for the administrators of the afterlife: she's lived a life that's been split straight down the middle between good and evil, so no one knows whether to send her to heaven or hell. Instead, they send Meg back to Earth to give her a chance to either save or condemn herself. Fans of Irish author Eoin Colfer's wicked sense of humour in the Artemis Fowl books should enjoy this quick, entertaining story, which, while mostly hilarious and irreverent, packs a surprising emotional punch in the end." This book was amazing! the idea is interesting and the witty banter made me laugh out loud several times (which earned me some weird looks).

The story is about Meg Finn, who dies after she saves an old man she was robbing from her "partner", Belch, who died along with her. Afterwards, she has to come back to earth to help the old man she robbed fulfill his Wish List, a list of things he wants to do before he dies of the heart disease that's taken hold of his life. Unfortunately, Satan wants her soul, so he sends Belch back to make sure she fails in her quest.

Unbelievably funny, anyone and everyone should read it!

I liked the idea behind this whole book. Decided to try it one day because I loved the Artemis Fowl series. It was a good read.
