I could hardly put this book down! As a fan of WW2 novels/nonfiction/movies, this didn't disappoint! The underground network and the people who worked in it should be lauded as well as the soldiers. They were just as brave, and they don't get as much glory.

19 year old Henry grows up in a terrifying way when his plane is shot down. He spends the next few months avoiding capture and being assisted by the brave French underground. A thriller and tear jerker at the same time. So poignant.
