For fantastical foods with lots of ewww factor, read this book. Have you ever imagined sitting back in some exotic destination and sipping on a truly unique digestif? How about a little clear rice wine from a glass bottle filled with a snake coiled around a single full-beaked bird in plumage. If that isn't gross enough for you, try this one... vodka mixed with the white milky sperm of a live lobster, extracted by a swift jab with a knife to its sexual organs.

Dipping into chef Bourdain's travel stories takes a mighty strong constitution. But if you have the stomach for it, he also dishes out some fine tips for great eating destinations. Go for it! This book serves up feasts you will likely never experience otherwise.
