Although I’m not a huge fan of Wes from the beginning the book grew on me and I liked that she wasn’t really ugly but felt that she was and I found that relatable in our society

It's different from the movie, which I didn't even know was based on a book.

I was surprised to learn that Kody Keplinger was only 17 when she wrote it; young authors are so often obviously young but this book does not read like it was written by a teenager. It is very different from the movie, delving deeper into…

The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend ) was an awesome book! I was so interested in it. The book was full of romance and drama! I'd definitely recommend this book to other readers.

I just want to put a content warning out there! Readers should be at least sixteen years of age, if not older! There are some pretty serious problems in here that are not appropriate for young readers, or so I believe. But the…

Ammmaaazing book!! Wesley is such a crushy guy! This book had me giggling like a teenage girl at most of the time, screaming at it occasionally... had me holding it close to my heart and sighing contently.. even had me kissing the book…

My sister recommended I read The DUFF for well over a year. She bought it, read it, and then immediately read it all over again. I did not have that same level of interest, fairly certain that it would be a lot of texting and lip gloss. I…

I did not enjoy this read at all. The writing was childish and choppy, the characters were flat and stupid, and the book just enforces the idea that girls can't feel good about themselves unless a guy confirms it. Urgh, I can't comprehend…

Kody Keplinger’s book, The Duff, was an exceptionally good read. It was one of the only books that I have read after watching the movie, so I was interested in seeing which one I would find better. In my opinion, The Duff film was far more…

An enjoyable book with likeable and realistic characters the reader wishes to root for. [And portrays the underlying motivations of the children - - students - - stemming from their parents' behavior towards them.]

Bianca is hilarious! She is witty, smart, and crazy! I like how she does things that are so unexpected, and it all works out in the end! Great read!

This YA book takes a much more franker look at high school sexuality than most do, nonchalantly accepting the early age and frequency with which modern-day adolescents engage in this particular activity. The protagonist as well as many of…

Although this book has aspects of self acceptance and the harm of stereotyping, there is not as much of that as the reader is led to believe. The bigger focus is on Bianca's strange and sometimes unhealthy relationship with Wesley. The…

I liked this book about accepting self and others as we all think the worse about ourselves. But through friendship, we learn that all of us at one time or another has been the Duff of the group and that is okay.

My friend recommended this to me...I should've read the notices...eww...made me practically barf...A LOT of sexual content...not meant for me...more of a young adult novel.

I really liked this book! Didn't quite know if I would, because the beginning seemed kind of bland, but once it got going, I started to love it! It's a quick read, but really leaves you thinking about things. One thing I will say though,…
