Writer in Residence: Applying for Grant Funding

Learn how to develop a grant funding request with our new Writer in Residence and Justina Verboom from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Justina will offer helpful tips for writing grant proposals, preparing a project budget, and using the AFA’s online application platform, all with the goal of increasing your chances of success. This online program is hosted by the St. Albert Public Library.
The library is pleased to welcome David Berry as our 2026 Writer in Residence! David will be with us from January through June, sharing his expertise through group programs and one-on-one consultations.
