Sharon Butala is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a three-time Governor General's Literary Award nominee, and is the author of twenty-one books, as well as numerous essays, articles, poetry, and plays. She joins us to talk about her new novel Leaving Wisdom, which explores memory, family, and the long shadow of World War II through the story of a retiring social worker in the Canadian Prairies.
