Enjoy an afternoon talking about books and making art! We'll be reading Half-blood Blues by Esy Edugyan. During the fall of Paris in 1940, a Black musician is arrested and never heard from again. 50 years later, his friend Sid goes back to Berlin to uncover the secrets of his disappearance. After a discussion of the book with library staff, head to the Gallery@501 Art Studio to create a pastel drawing inspired by the novel. All supplies included.
